Hi girls, you’re all well read on the topic on being green right? The apocalypse of 2012? The tsunami in 2004? Well, you get my point. So today I came across an article and I thought by myself, dear… If we’ve to go through another global catastrophe we may as well do it in style. That’s why I’m sharing this amazing idea with you.
Designed by Italian architect Giancarlo Zema we here have the solar powered, recycled house. Oh did I forget to mention that thing floats? We’ve seen the movies and we’ve heard our scientists: the coastline will change irrevocably. The firm behind Zema’s Waternest 100, EcoFloLife, spent years on designing this energy- efficient home.
The Waternest 100 is 1000 square foot and is made of recycled timber and recycled aluminium hull. The roof is mainly a giantic solar panel and the design has skylights, balconies and large windows to give you an amazing view. Besides everything this home can be set to float on top of any calm body of water.
Brilliant or what? Take a sneak peek of the future’s style house.
