Childish behavior me and my boyfriend have.

Hi guys, I regularly receive private messages and e-mails with different kind of questions about myself, my work and my private life. Now it sometimes can get really hard to answer all of your questions and I find it unfair to answer some and leave some hanging. So I thought of a solution: starting from today I weekly will answer one question through a blogpost. So every week, one question, one subject every Tuesday.

The blogpost of today is about childish behavior me and my boyfriend display as a couple. This question came from Linda. Asking me

‘What kind of childish stuff you do in your relationship?’

Well, I have to say that in every one of us there is an inner child hidden. It really doesn’t matter how old you are. Sometimes you just get the ‘I want to behave like a child’ vibe. Also me and my boyfriend  often –of course when no one is around- behave like two little toddlers. It’s nice to relax this way. And besides I just love to be a carefree, teasing child. I don’t think it’s something you should be ashamed about. Even so, I think it’s really important to be yourself in a relationship. It doesn’t matter in which stage of love you’re in: just be the best version of yourself. Isn’t your partner very font of how you are as a person? Well, then your really have to consider if he’s the one you want to be with.

Anyway, no I’m losing the topic. Let’s get back to the question: What kind of childish stuff I do in a relationship? Well, now you know that I can enjoy behaving like a child I as well can name 9 items I specifically like to do. Read along.

1. Sometimes I secretly hide something in my boyfriends pillow. So when we go to sleep he will feel something disturbing lying underneath his head. Unfortunately I usually am laughing so hard before his head even hits the pillow, he just knows somethings wrong. I know, I know I have to work on my tactics.

2. Making funny faces at each other when there are other people around. The trick is to make the faces so no one but my boyfriend can see them. The challenge is to get each other to laugh. Once I start, it’s really hard to control my laughing. We have our own special faces we make so we know what we mean with each one of them. My boyfriend is the layback kind of guy, but when he starts making faces we have a hilarious time.

3. Secretly hiding underwear in each others bag. So when my boyfriend arrives at work he always takes out his laptop first. When I put underwear in his laptop case it gets out and his face when he sees it is priceless. He gets a total red head and looks so ashamed. This one of course is risk-taking, since there is a chance I would miss it. Luckily for me we often work on the same location so I usually get to see his reaction. In that moment I feel like a total blissed child who should get an award.

4. What my boyfriend and I also do, very secretly, is walk by very closely and fart. Than walk away very quickly, act like nothing happened. When someone else walks by it looks like he is the one who did the job. Well, this leads to very funny situations we both can laugh about.

5. Putting funny photo’s on each others phones as background picture. My boyfriend (and I) usually are shocked to dead when this childish act is done. So on a blue Monday I was really busy on my laptop, which lead to forgetting my phone for a while. Then when I wanted to make a call I totally shocked when I saw a gigantic pink monkeys ass which filled my full screen. I was so embarrassed and of course the note was set. Now every time my boyfriend is busy I try to get his phone to put some ridiculous and hilarious picture on it. Yes, revenge is now my middle name.

6. Hoping indoors and outdoors. Of course when no one is watching. Just imagine someone would see us.Don’t worry, we don’t cause the earthquakes. Just stretching the limbs and being carefree. Or at least that’s the idea.

7. When he is showering I sometimes open up the tap for hot water, so for a few seconds he feels very cold water which leads to a very funny squawk. I don’t make friends with this action, but after a while we really can laugh about the memory.

8. Hiding around the corner to get him scared. Most of the time he knows where I am, so it’s a challenge to scare him. After all this time of course the most spots I could hide are know. So I’m getting creative with this one.

9. I also, very seldom yell something very loud in a male voice and hide behind my boyfriend so people think it was him talking. This is so childish but the reactions are just too good.

Well, the first impression you get of me never would let to the suspicion of me being this childish let alone how much I can enjoy it. But well, I’m also a human being who can enjoy the little laughable things in life. Regarding my work I have to say I’m way more strict. I personally think there has to be a balanced line between having fun and working. I anyway hope you got the know me a little better. Do you have any questions about me, my life or my work?
