Hi Angels! We women love a good pair of high heels. There is no doubt that I love to wear some killer heels on a night out. You know what they say: Who wants to be pretty, has to suffer pain. Because lets be honest, even though high heels are beautiful they still can really hurt and ruin your night. So is there something we can do about it? Of course we can. For you my angels I have some tips to help ensure your heels won’t hurt and ruin your night out.
1. Buy the right size
So you just spotted the most amazing pair of heels, but sadly the shop doesn’t have your size anymore. Am I the only person who is still tempted to buy these heels, because they’re so pretty? Well I don’t think so. But my tip is to don’t buy them in the wrong size. Trust me, your feet won’t love you for it.
2. Break in shoes
After you found yourself the most fabulous pair of high heels for a night out. It’s important to allow them to break in before your special night. Wearing your new shoes for the first time while going out, is asking for problems. So make sure to break in the shoes by wearing them around the house. And by the time you’re ready for your night out they’ll have stretched and you and your shoes are ready to party!
3. Gel Pillows
After walking in your shoes before your night out, you can discover where they hurt. Luckily for us there are a lots of products to prevent this. Take gel pillows for example. By placing them where your shoes rub, you should be able to prevent any sore spots developing.
4. Travel in flats
The pain is caused by wearing your shoes for too long. My advice: travel in flats. Take your heels with you in your bag and wear flat shoes till you reach your destination. Than just switch to your heels. This way you make sure your feet don’t get hurt from wearing your heels for too long.
5. Avoid pointed shoes
Pointed shoes are a no-go. When you’re wearing these type of shoes you’re just asking for trouble. Toes aren’t shaped pointed, so they’re going to be squashed inside the shoes. Do yourself a favor, no matter how cute they might be… Just go for shoes with an rounded toe or shoes with an open toe.
Just a few little tips to get you along. If your mind is set on having a fabulous night out, dancing and swinging around, than definitely try these tips and let me know if they worked for you!
