Hi there busy butterflies, Amsterdam Fashion Week has begun and oh I’m so excited! The most important thing on my checklist for this amazing event the outfits. After my fair share of Fashion Weeks I finally figured out it’s best to plan out your outfits two to three weeks before the event. This way you avoid the “oh my god, what am I going to wear? Never mind I’ll go tomorrow” scenarios. Below I listed 3x how to dress on Fashion Week tips to get you going. Read along and get inspired. Who knows? You might find some useful tips.
1. Create your own Walhalla
First decide your color pallet. A crucial step, since this will form the base of your outfits. Every item in your suitcase should be mix and match material. For deciding your color pallet, go for colors you know you will look –not only good but- fabulous in. Also don’t forget practical items like your iPad, flats and a notebook. Invisible bras can be a practical item too☺
2. Make visuals
Select, according to your color pallet, as many outfits as you can. Don’t be scared to try something new. Then try them on and take pictures. Select your most favorite ones and start deciding how you would like your hair to be done, accessories and makeup. Do this for every outfit you chose.
3. Keep track
Now you’ve packed everything and are ready to go. Keep in mind preparation is half the work. But also keeping track of what you’ve worn. Just imagine wearing an outfit twice [note: not done].
By following these tips you’re ready for every Fashion Week ahead of you, so am I. Do you have a particular ritual before Fashion Week? Or are there tips you want to share with me? Let me know! I’m excited to read your reactions.
